The Ancient Mew game card promotion ran from July 21 -
July 27, 2000. The Legendary Bird game cards promotion runs from July 28 -
August 3, 2000. Wizards of the Coast, Inc. and Warner Bros. have teamed up
to bring you four exciting promotional cards for the Pokémon™* trading
card game (TCG).
Ancient Mew Game Card: Beginning July 21, during the first
week of Pokémon The Movie 2000, get the unique game card Ancient
Mew when you buy a ticket to see the movie.
(Special Note: After you see the movie, go to a Pokémon
TCG League store to pick up an exclusive Ancient Mew playmat. Pokémon TCG
League members can decode the message printed on the playmat and earn 10
league points!)
Legendary Birds Game Cards: Beginning July 28, during the
second week of the movie, get one of three special Legendary Bird game
cards (Zapdos, Moltres, or Articuno) when you buy a ticket to Pokémon
The Movie 2000.
(Special Note to Pokémon TCG League Members: Complete the
activity on the advertisement card inside the promotional card packet,
then go to a Pokémon TCG League store to redeem 10 league points plus
another exclusive league promo card!)
*For a limited time only people received a free
promotional card with their movie admission while supplies lasted at
participating theaters.
