July 17 Update!  The NEW BK Pokemon Promo starts today, July 17th, and what a line-up of toys!  These are great!  Called "Power Cards", there are 5 different kinds of cards: Action, Talking, Glow in the Dark, Light Up and Squirters, with 24 total Pokemon.  When you put the card into it's base and push down on it, it either talks, lights up, squirts, glows or a part of it moves, such as it's wings!  The line-up of Pokemon includes new Pokemon Elekid, Marril and Lugia!    Click Here for pictures of them all!!    Click Here for a Checklist to Print Out!

Well, earlier I thought there were no numbers, but after getting a couple more of the toys, I found them - if you look on the outer bag in the "fine print" right next to where it says "Made in China" there is a letter/number combination - this seems to be the code for the toy!   So we're doing another chart again with the bag numbers!!   Under this chart are comments from our visitors so be sure to scroll down and read!

Collectible Power Cards Feature New Characters Introduced In "Pokemon The
Movie 2000."

Miami, July 13 - PRNewswire -- Pokemon is powering its way back to BURGER
KING restaurants nationwide beginning July 17, 2000, with 24 unique collectible trading cards that feature 3-D Pokemon characters bursting from the center of the card. The six-week promotion will premiere in restaurants just days before the new Warner Bros. Pictures release, Kids' WB! Presents "Pokemon The Movie 2000,'' the latest animated adventure from Nintendo's Pokemon universe, opens in theaters. The promotion builds on the ongoing popularity of Pokemon trainer Ash Ketchum and the appealing array of Pokemon characters.

"We're thrilled to be partnering once again with Nintendo's Pokemon, a property that literally has changed the landscape of family entertainment,'' said Richard Taylor, vice president of USA marketing for Burger King Corporation. "Pokemon The Movie 2000'' is a sequel to last fall's hit movie and is an exciting adventure that introduces six new Pokemon, including Lugia, guardian of the legend, to moviegoers. This challenge will take all Ash's courage and strength and the collaboration of Lugia, who helps the young hero restore balance on Earth. BURGER KING restaurants will offer one of 24 unique Pokemon 2000 Power Cards, based on the movie's characters, with each BURGER KING BIG KIDS MEAL and Kids Meal purchase at participating restaurants, or while supplies last. These collectible cards fit into a molded activator base that represents the element type of each individual Pokemon, and perform one or more special power actions such as lighting up, talking, squirting, glowing in the dark, or moving one or more parts of the character. To reveal the Power Card's action, simply press the button on the card or push the card down into the base.

The promotion will be supported with kid-targeted national advertising and in-store merchandising. Additionally, Burger King Corporation's website, www.burgerking.com, will feature a Pokemon The Movie 2000 micro-site including a main page themed to the Pokemon Power Card premiums. A Master Pokemon Collector's site, as well as a movie trailer page featuring streaming media, will also be included on the site.
