We just got this today from Sailorkiyoko:   I also realize how to identify some of the codes on the bag.  I am not quite sure what the first and the fourth numbers mean yet.  I am guessing that the 1st number is the box number that the toy come in, and the fourth number stands for the plastic character that it come with on the back of each mini game boy (which there is only 45 different ones).  Don't flame me if I am wrong, I am just trying to help.

I think it sounds pretty good, what do you all think?  As a side note, we are all here to help each other, and there won't be any flaming for opinions or ideas :)
The second number on the bag shows you what kind of toy it is inside.
01-Talking
02-Magic motion
03-Light up
04-Hover disk
05-Pachinko
06-Movable
07-Water
08-Spinning
The third number shows you what color it is.
01-gold
02-chrome (silver???)
03-clear puple
04-bluegreen
05-rose
06-yellow
07-green
08-purple
09-pink
10-blue
11-yellow
12-green
Thanks also to Ray for helping us fill in missing colors in the code numbers above!  Ray also has this to say:

Yep, they decided to number 2 colors twice for some reason, cause it is a
fact there are only 10 colors. & I still believe there are 50 different
poke-toys rather than 45.

As for Peggy, the Pokemon on the Pachinko (the pinball game) Game Boy is #154
Meganium. But she forgot to tell us which toy was #22. I don't think its from
the Chikorita evolution cause all 3 of those have been identified in other
bags. :)

To other collectors, thanx for the info. I admit some wasn't that specific &
some was over specific. But what we need the most is which toy is in which
bag & maybe the 1 on the screen. Since now we can identify which color & which
function it does just by the #s. The color of the GB pack whether its G&S
really isn't necessary, unless u intend to go after all 100 codes. & is
Pokemon on the game pack is optional. From what I see we've got 16 out of 50.
Got a ways to go. :)

Anyways, asst. 3 should b arriving here hopefully next week. Thanx again &
keep em coming.

Peggy needs help identifying the new Pokemon, and so do we!  Can anyone help?!  Hi Deb,

I got two different toys today at the BK. First bag code 02-02-07-18 Gold bag  - Green GameBoy with changing pictures of Flareon, Diglett on toy game cartridge, transparent orange Flareon toy card Second bag code 02-05-04-22 Gold bag - Blue GameBoy pinball, but we need help identifying one of the new 100  Pokemon transparent chartreuse (pea green) and a picture on the game cartridge.  It looks like a brontosaurus with a necklace made of leaves - Sarah couldn't find the magazine with the names.  We need a Pokemon expert out there to help us identify this mysterious new Pokemon.  Thanks. Peggy

Our friend Brandon Clark reports this to us:

This is a picture from Nintendo Power Magazine December 2000 issue. As you can see there will be another Pokemon Promotion after the Rugrats in Paris promotion. The picture shows the 8 different varieties of mini game boys: talking, hover disk, light-up, magic motion, water action, pachinko, movable action, and spinning. I don't think it will be like the last promotions where you could tell what was in the package by the codes because there are so many different combinations, but we shall know for sure in a few days.

12/10 CODE INFO from Ray G.:

Being a fellow BK worker, I gotta inform ya that yes there is a code combination on these new collectibles as well. As far as I know, there will be 4 assortments, each with 25 different toys (for a total of 100, ironic that Pokemon G&S offers 100 new Pokemon). No clue on the 8 functions, how they'll be packed, but since there are 4 assortments, it could be 2 functions per box. I double checked asst. 1, & indeed there were 25 diff. codes. These codes consist of 4 numbers separated by hyphens. They range so far from 1 to 14. The first 25 toys start with a 1, so the 1st # could mean assortment 1.  Here they are:
Gold wrapped only:  1-1-3-3 (short packed)
                             1-1-2-2         "

Silver wrapped only:  1-1-1-1  (short packed)

in both G&S:   1-2-5-5
1-7-9-12
1-2-5-4
1-3-7-6
1-4-8-7
1-4-8-8
1-6-4-11
1-8-10-14
1-6-4-10
1-8-10-13
1-5-6-9.

So there ya go, the 1st 25. Any more info will be most grateful as to which goes in which, seeing I'm the Poke-expert at my place. :)  BTW, I did find one
out of its bag. It was a Spinning Sentret with a Bellossom Pak. The trading mini figure was also a Sentret.
Thanx again & hope 2 hear from yas if anything pops up. I'll check back Monday.

12/11 - More from Ray:

Well, they went ahead & opened assortment 2 today & things are a little more clearer now with that & info from the POP. The collectibles consist of a mini tradable toy & a game pack to put in the Game Boy to make the function work. There are only 50 toys instead of 100. But the pokemon on the game packs could total 100. The ones on the game pak are not exclusively from Gold & Silver. The toys proobably are. As for the Pokemon that appears on the Game Boy screen, well that's entirely random. Some may match the toy, while others like Pachinko show multiple Pokemon pictures. There are also 10 different Game Boy colors. A mite complex indeed.  So the 100 different codes probably refer to a combination of color & toy & function. This leads us to asst. 2. Every first # in asst. 2 is 02. That means the first # stands for asst. #. (there'll b 4 in all). As for the last number, I really didn't notice that it was a different # in each one in asst. 1. Same with 2. So that means the last number represents the 50 different toys (although #15 hasn't been spotted).
As for the 2nd number, since it hasn't been higher than 8, it must represent which function it does. & the 3rd number mite be the color of the Game Boy,
but I did find a number higher than 10 in asst. 2, so who knows?   Unlike asst. 1, asst. 2 only had 23 different codes, with only 1 shortpacked. They
are the following:

Silver only:   2-1-3-16
Both G&S:   2-6-12-24
2-8-5-27
2-5-4-23
2-4-9-21
2-3-8-20
2-2-7-17
2-7-6-26
2-6-12-25
2-5-4-22
2-3-8-19
2-2-7-18

One was opened from 2-3-8-19 silver. It was a Typhlosion toy (on front too) with a Donphan Pack.

There ya go. Keep those toys comin in. Lets see whats in those short packed toys. :)
